It's the 1st of March, we have a traditional holiday here called "Gandma Marta". We're exchanging gifts called "martenica" made of red and white threads like this with family members and closest friends:
You're supposed to wear it on your clothes till you see a stork which usually come back around here at the end of March and mark the start of the Spring. Red symbolizes health, and white symbolizes prosperity, I'm wishing you all a lot of both.
