I've had a 20k week in the game. It's a very good game and plays large. So yes it's completely possible with the right lineups to make 100/h. Ppl in here will probably attest to that. As for 101066 you never explained how this is -ev peeling from the button. Which it isn't. But how did you figure this?

Folding preflop is horrible. Jesus.

Flop call is good - too deep to do anything else. Bet more on the turn (close to pot), OR bet $300 to reopen action if you think there's a good chance BB will shove. You have lots to protect against.

River is trivial fold. He very clearly had a draw on the turn to check/call this way. There's practically no dead money for him to try to bluff you out of the pot. Technically, it's possible he hit something like two pair on the river and is trying to get you to fold the best hand while hoping he's good against v1, but very, VERY few opponents ever consider this. It's usually not even worth it. He's got the nuts here 95% of the time.

It has merit in 6 max games against a short stack tight opening range. Like under 50bb or so I would have to figure it out. But he has flamed me a bit and I still don't even think he plays poker.
