BB checks, Hero bets $70, BB calls $70

TURN ($251) 4 J 3 7

BB checks,

Villain is 49/20 over maybe 150 hands, seems like a pretty weak player
Should I be betting or checking here? getting check raised is obviously ****ty because we dont quite have equity to call when he mostly has 65?

Is barreling here bad? Logic being that he is ccing the flop with alot of 2p, striaght hands etc...is he folding turn enough to make a 60% bet good?
Do people always cbet this flop?

barreling w/ no blockers and no reads is ambitious imo

Hand 1.. What hands do we put opp on that would call flop, but fold turn? any pair + gs makes two pair; any pair + fd probably still comes along; open-ended made a straight. Bet only makes sense if we plan on barreling river, which is an okay plan, but I prefer to check, and use position on the river.

Hand 2.. Pot/fold looks like the best sizing. Because you have so little behind, opponent is only shoving with better, so we can fold. And if opponent calls, we can shut down on river and fold.
