Hi new to plo and just after some thoughts and advice on what sort of hands we should be 3 betting when 150 to 250 bbs deep. Ive stopped 3 betting aces from the blinds when deep unless they are strong aces as im totally lost when someone either flats my flop bet or i get raised and i have nothing else going with my aces.

Also in position are you always 3 betting single suited aces or kings but nothing much going with it? Everytime i seem to 3 bet these hands im getting checkraised all the time and begining to think why bother. I feel better 3 betting suited run downs and high connected sort of hands than aces or kings.

So whats people's thoughts? I feel this is where im bleeding money at the moment in 3 bet pots especially when deep.

The deeper you get, the less you 3bet OOP and more you 3bet IP. And your OOP 3betting ranges becomes more about playability than hand strength - you don't 3bet big pairs as much, but good rundowns.

Thanks for that realised ive posted in wrong forum oops, should of posted in small stakes section. Im begining to realise 3betting big pairs is not such a good idea when deep.

Also, a very important thing to consider is who is on your left.

If you have weak players and want to keep them in dont 3bet that often.
If you're IP heads up vs a fish and to your left are solid regs 3bet more
