Should i bet flop bigger? thought this would be a good bluff size when he just missed the board and also let him cr more often

this is a strange hand with the coordination of the board and the smaller betsizes but i actually really like the way you played this. to me it feels like you could definitely be bluffing the whole way and i think he has a lot of hands he might shove over your bet, but not very many that can call a shove if you took a bigger cbet on the flop + pot turn line.

also i kind of like checking the flop back - not sure how people are going to feel about that. to induce of course.

i would prob bet closer to 2/3 pot on both flop and turn. you could def make an argument for betting larger, i just find that harder to balance.

my thought was what Ben wrote above, its much better for balance if i bet small here because so often I will want to bet 1/2 when I miss just because of how often is going to have to c/f hands even if i bet small on the flop - it also temps him into semi bluffing turns (crai) and making too light of flop calls. The thing is, im not 100% if all of that balance and 'induceaments' is >>> then going 3/4 + jam turn.

yeah i think it's kinda close. in a vacuum, i think protecting your hand > trying to induce but it's pretty villain dependent obv.

in bet flop bigger ship turn camp. think ck back flop here some is better way to balance/induce then half pot cbet as standard on wet boards

Am I wrong in assuming that people generally play fit or fold on this texture in a 3bet pot for one buy in anyway? I think flop sizing is interesting, but if what I'm assuming is true then it's better to just size flop bigger so we can get in a ton of our moneys on the turn.

I think it induces more of the former than than the latter

I'd also rather play a 2 street game here with that board texture due to the amount of straightening cards compared to a gappier straight board
