3/6 5cards 3bet AAT22 OOP, Dry flop and brick turn

UTG : $ 1000
CO : $ 600
BU : $ 740
SB : $ 600
BB (Hero): $ 1000

Pre Flop: (pot: $9.00) Hero has A A Q 4 4
UTG straddles at $12, CO folds, BU raises to $45, SB folds, Hero raises to $150, UTG folds, BU calls


Flop: ($315, 2 players) T 8 8
Hero bets $112, BU calls

Turn: ($539, 2 players) 2
Hero ?

Villian is 54/21. More of rec player, not much read on him.

Any merit to check such a flop OOP?
And the turn should I just continue?
