UTG : $ 1400
MP : $ 1500
CO : $ 4040
BU (Hero) : $ 6215
SB : $ 940
BB: $ 800

Pre Flop: (pot: $15.00) Hero has 3 4 6 7 9
UTG MP folds, CO raises to $35, Hero raises to $105, SB folds, BB and CO calls

Flop: ($320, 3 players) 6 5 2
BB CO checks, Hero bets $240, BB folds, CO calls

Turn: ($800, 2 players) 2
Co checks, Hero bets $385, CO raises to $1955, Hero?

Villain is a lag fish, table opened around him
60/30

Might be willing to represent hands (it might be my biased observation)

On the turn, should i just shove or call? thinking of calling since there's almost no scare cards other than A as I play quite tight on this table.

I like call. The 6 in hero's hand blocks some of his boats and we want to let villain keep blasting off with his bluffs. We can consider leading some rivers (such as a,k).

We're the button and in position. I also vote call. Fish will surprise you with some crazy bluffs and raise folds that make no sense from time to time. But a loose player is not going to fold a boat because of a potential rivered overfull.

I think really bad 3bet pre, even against a fish.No need to raise turn as played.

If you can see his cards and he has 22 or 66, then you can go ahead and raise confident of getting called. Otherwise, why take the ropes from him if he wants to hang himself?

3b pre is bad unless you are reasonably confident you're going to make a straight flush

Even 66 can fold to a jam. We shouldn't have a 3betting range on this board

If he is paying attention to how you trap with ultra value hands then jamming is perhaps best. Especially for long term meta game. That is really really rare in live poker though.

He probably has a small overfull when he fully pots it not a bluff that might click it back etc. A call widens your range to bluff catchers as well.

Where was this played? MGMNH? That’s the real question

i always call here and with this opponent this doesnt apply but just from observation against more thinking opponents and not the one described people tend to make crazy c/fs after i flat because it looks so strong and shoving might actually look weaker counter intuitively. pretty sick spot for villian to bluff and suicidal to shove after someone flats on these stack sizes on a lockdown board but never know what opponent is thinking. These spots tend to seem like they matter more because of the size of the pot but I doubt decisions are actually that important to winrate. matters more for winrate when you're on the other side of this hand as his sizing is terrible and probably not well devised strategy since every c/r should have 4d or 3d in it
