Readless on table as it's early still--SB and BB are both omaha regs. How do we go about extracting value with this hand?

Full Tilt Poker $35,000 Guarantee Pot Limit Omaha Hi Tournament - t30/t60 Blinds - 6 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

CO: t2425 M = 26.94
BTN: t5480 M = 60.89

BB: t6602 M = 73.36
Hero (UTG): t6124 M = 68.04
MP: t5725 M = 63.61

Pre Flop: (t90) Hero is UTG with K 2 9 K
Hero raises to t175, 1 fold, CO calls t175, BTN calls t175, SB calls t145, BB calls t115

SB checks, BB checks, [color=red]Hero bets?

bet. 5 people seeing the flop is going to be straight forward no matter what, u dont really want to see a offsuit T-Q or possibly an ace. You can bet like 1/2 pot and hope something sticks around of 2 pair gets dumb and jams

# of 99xx is reduced, we have the Kc (so no semi bluffs vs. the nfd), stacks are still relatively deep, hero raised UTG, and people are not really messing around on boards with an Ace and to a lesser degree a King.

So really we are only up against a very small range of hands that can play aggressively in this spot: Mainly QcTxx combo draws and AAxx and to a lesser degree JcTxx combo draws.

Noone's gonna bluff at this board and people are way more likely to take a free card with any non-nut FD+gutshot type of hand here, so betting is definitely the way to go. Imo a very good spot to bet smallish (~400) and hope people make mistakes (i.e. stick around) with AK/A9/99/FD/QJT. Betting 550 is too much iyam.

precisely this. and the comment about 99 being less of a possibility, more reason to bet small and hope ppl stay

I'm not in the bet small medium camp. people who want to continue here will continue.

bet your standard, and proceed. I'd go with 735.

I disagree. When you bet this small, it's more likely for hands like A9 or a bad FD to call, and more likely for hands like AK/99 to raise rather than bluffcatch.

I share your sentiment of disagreeing whole heartedly. We are cbetting into a bunch of players. Based on the stack sizes, bigger the bet, more likely a made hand with/without a limited redraw will feel good about committing itself because there isnt much left to play with. The same with other hands that might want to compete mostly hands that have poor visibility like Ace with gutshot and a fd blahbitty blah.

A smaller bet gets you into safe turn plays and peel modes. Not even specific reads are nough imo to justify a smaller bet, because it'd be a longshot.

Hands that want to play here will play for cheap or not, and we'd be remiss not to inflate this pot as much as we can.

You post the same hand with any reasonable hand that can continue from villains side here, and you will get a >90% shove response.
