One open limp by a weak reg in EP who limps most of his range. I Iso with
Q478 to $180 in HJ (too loose?)
Young unknown player on BTN calls. Limper calls.

Stack: $3800 effective

Flop is 565 Pot $540.

EP checks, I cbet 300, BTN raises to 900, EP folds, Hero?

Yeah, I'm with AlexKP. This is the basic sim for how you fare against a 5:

Omaha Hi Simulation ?
600,000 trials (Randomized)
board: 5d 6d 5s
Hand Equity Wins Ties
Qd 4d 7h 8h 35.01% 206,904 6,294
5*** 64.99% 386,802 6,294

Then, add in that in real life, the 5s that BTN's likely to have due to preflop are going to hands that either have a 6 or block your wrap outs, and I think there's no way that you can continue. Playing a HU match online, BTN's range would likely be weak enough that you can play back, but in a multiway pot live, he's pretty much guaranteed to either have a 5 or a dominating draw.

I think flop is a mandatory check unless er have a very clear plan how to react to the cr.

So how often would you say he needs to be bluffing to make a shove plus ev?

If i plan to b/f, c/c might be better. But this hand seems like a good hand to b/c or b/3b on given how often we have to give up to a flop raise as PFR on this board. How else can we protect our cbetting range if we b/f this hand? That may be too GTO approach if villains arent attacking this board. Hard to say vs unknown.

Multiway on a 655 board with a flush draw, villain's pretty much NEVER bluffing. I'm pretty sure calling down when you have a 5 or better is plenty to protect your C-bets, and honestly, you should probably be folding the river with K5 if you get there and he bets again.

I find it odd you say he is pretty much never bluffing. Seems like an ideal flop to bluff with several draws not strong enough to call. TTxxdd 9Txxdd or wrap no fd etc.

Would you fold KK+FD to the raise?

Fold.

So we have to hope he's bluffing and/or we hit our hand.

Just not a good situation unless you have really specific reads.
