Another thing that u seem to miss is bec u play some spots bad we think ure the worst player ever, its very easy to find live settings and maybe even lowstakes online settings where u can win, but u can NEVER be a good player and beat highstakes live or online if ure not willing to look critical at ure own play.

So GL at making 20k$ a year playing live poker, those 20k$ is what all the good players wanna make every 10 days, but at least u can tell urself ure a monster at beast everything and somehow all ppl on those internet forums are after u to get u down for no apparent reason?

I genuinely feel sorry for you that you have to put down a random stranger on the internet to feel good about yourself.

I hope you can find the good in life Alex.

Let's say villain fits the common profile of someone who would only bet the turn with a flush and would bet/fold if raised unless he puts the raiser on a naked ace bluff or if he had a boat redraw. Perhaps this player would have 3bet the flop with a flush draw+set, so it is unlikely he has something like the second-nut flush with a set unless his set is jacks.

Should you raise the turn against this player? Perhaps it depends on how you think the river will play out.

I am going to split the baby in half and suggest that a player with a tight image should be more likely to check preflop than a player with a loose image.

I am also going to suggest that a good player will eventually find a spot where they can find a fold with the nut flush on an unpaired board where a straight flush is possible.

Wow, how can u not see that several ppl try to HELP and give u feedback on your plays?

U try to twist everything into some narrative that ppl are gunning for u instead of seeing that ppl just gave u advice and u made clear mistakes and u wont learn from them, but if u did, u would actually improve alot?

i would think about why some of the more vetted posters in this thread are telling you that you are making some fundamental mistakes in this hand which ultimately reflect leaks in your overall thought process.

if you are able to handle it, (and I bet you are), I would take this criticism in stride and not take it as a direct attack on your personal self.

take this moment where you are getting good free advice and use it towards self improvement--for on and off the felt.

Do these ranges look reasonable?

If villain only does this w/ a blocker and redraw:
ProPokerTools Omaha Hi Simulation
29,920 trials (Exhaustive)
board: Q89J
Hand Pot equity Wins Ties
AdQh2h3d14.31% 4,2820
QQ9d, QQTd, 9dTd:50%, QQKdd, JJKdd, JJ9dd, JJTdd85.69% 25,6380

If villain will also do this w/ JT on flop and a blocker:
ProPokerTools Omaha Hi Simulation
53,120 trials (Exhaustive)
board: Q89J
Hand Pot equity Wins Ties
AdQh2h3d50.13% 26,6280

those ranges don't mean anything. no one with half a brain tries to fold out nut flush 100bb deep in live PLO. based on OP this is one hand 100% of the time
