I am in a hand against this scrubby looking dude who always signs his name on the list as "The Dishwasher" and he short buys into the game for $300 when everyone else buys in for $500. Anyway, his style is tight, I would say he's competent, but incapable of making hero calls or hero bluffs. The only thing about him that throws me off is that he is wearing red flip flops with white socks underneath and if you know anything about live poker you know guys like that do not give a fukk about money. Anyway, we are both sitting with around $1,000 when the following hand breaks out.

I limp UTG, a few others limp including "The Dishwasher" and then a fish OTB makes it $35, pot goes 6 ways.

Flop comes down Kd Qd 2c and it checks around.

Turn brings an Ac and I decide to check my hand even though I have turned two flush draws. It gets to "The Dishwasher" and he makes it $150. Folds around to me and I flat the $150. River pairs the board, but does not make either of my flushes. I decide to pot it for $500 and rep the full house harder than Colin Kaepernick is repping the Black Panthers with his sweet afro. "The Dishwasher" starts staring me down like I'm the last batch of dishes on a Friday night before he goes and snorts cheap cocaine with a young slag waitress at Red Lobster. He's seriously considering the call.

depends on your frequency of leading flop with sets. if youre always leading (i know its not always anything, but...). if youre leading flop with sets a lot i dont like it (as you didnt say your hand so i cant judge blocker potential), bc your hand is likely one of the worst bluff (no k/a/q).

exploitatively, its probably fine bc he cant hero call (yet you say he hates money). if pots your bet sizing here with QQ+. theory wise, if you dont have an akq then its probably the worst hand to do it with. Also depends on your sizing normally here with a full. if its balancedish i like it with whatever.

any reads on his non pot of turn? he do that alot? id expect jt to pot most times as whats $30-40 more on that board. so it might give me pause if i had a live read...but whatever

Flip flops with socks, how does that even work?

I guess he might mean some sort of sandal, or possibly the flip flops where you just slide your foot through a single, wide strap.
