Hi all

I just wanted to check that this is a standard line. I feel like I am a decent player but lack a bit of experience at these stakes. I have played a little at this level but I do not have enough of a sample size at these stakes to feel that confident...which I actually think feel makes me play better.

Anyway, hero is playing 5 handed with well known regs. Folds to me on button with a stack of 1.4k. I make it $70 with AA210 (A2 spades).

Player in small blind who is tough reg at this level makes it $230, bb passes and I make it $710.

Villain flats and flop is 3h 9d 10d.

Villain checks. My other A is a diamond. I am short so feel I clearly just need to shove and would have snapped a bet anyway.

Villain snaps and has JQ (hearts) and A8 (clubs).

I am only 31.5% here but luckily scoop a 3k pot.

Were both lines simply standard?

Thanks.

Spr 0.5, i am not sure it would be correct to fold even 89t flush board with this behind.

I am curious why people play stortstacked very often here?Do we open raise tighter range?

I would suggest not playing 10/20 Stars games if this is a tough decision for you
Edit: unless you're talking about play money

Flop play is super duper standard. Frankly I'm not sure you should be playing 10/20 if you have questions about the flop play.

Your play pre-flop is also super standard. V's call of the 4-bet pre is a bit marginal but also OK.

Like others have said, the only tricky part of the hand is villain's decision whether to call the 4! Or not

I believe most sites limit buy-in to 100BB so there isn't much of a difference in terms of spr at the turn/river when we're talking 50bb-100bb.

Yeah, if Villian is TAG he would / should fold to your 4bet. If villian is LAG you are spinning the wheel.
