Just wondering.

Seems like I run into the nut flush often, curious if this is bad luck or if I'm supposed to ever consider folding/not trying to get it in...

I suppose if the board pairs you go into check/call mode?

Don't do any of this. I imagine you're fairly new, so the best place to start is by folding all non nut draws and made hands, and make changes from there.
