If CO has a high cbet / tight RFI I think c/r might play better, lead is fine though as played fold river imo vs this playerpool - if it was good regs could have argument of calling with both flush draws missing

If villian has a lower set then you he probably raises flop or turn same should be true if he has combo draw with both flush and straigh draw.

So he is probably drawing with either flush or straight draw or trying to get to cheap river with two pair.

So betting the river small if the boards misses the straight/flush -completing cards trying to get value from weaker hands like two pair.

And betting smaller if straight/flush comes hopping villian was drawing to the opposite, which would correct about 50% of the time and still give incentive to call with weaker hands but fold lone flush/straight draws that missed.

Your hand is garbage first of all. I don't care what people say (oh it makes 3rd set, and 3rd nut flush, and you're getting a great price, have to call!). No. The side cards are ****, and you're oop, meaning you cannot play this profitably so just fold.

For example you come to the river after donk betting twice with one of the strongest hands you can have on the river, and you have absolutely NO IDEA what villain has. He could have AA, he could have worse sets, he could have busted draws, he could have made straights, and so on. Save yourself the headache and just fold pre.

^yes, and same is true for second hand. Also don't donk when you can't improve on most future board runouts but calling ranges will. Second hand I would check almost full range on this board for the same reasons and this hand is no exception - just fold pre-flop, this hand won't do the job over 3 streets post-flop, esp. OOP it won't.

i call, you're getting a good price, hearts miss, clubs missed if he got to the river with that, might be doing some other move trying to valuebet 2 pair or something. then he has the straight quite often too maybe over half the time but we are getting good odds to call.

Thank you for your contribution everyone, thoughts appreciated. I think folding 1st pre is reasonable and 2nd hand too. Anyway, i stationed both. 1st hand dry 689T, 2nd hand random QT that floated.
