Looking for analysis regarding optimal preflop play - reads of villains are important.
Stacks:
V1: $2800 (big blind)
V2: $1900 (straddle)
Hero: $1000 (cutoff)
V1 is an ultra LAG who, while competent, c-bets more often oop than optimal and doesn't have a good understanding of flop texture. V2 is a whale who has been burning money in the game and tilting, juicing it up pre with any 4 cards.
Hero is in CO with 9x8h6x4h. Three limpers for $4. Hero calls. Button folds - Hero now has position. Small blind limps. V1 limps. V2 raises to $30. One player folds, everyone else calls up to small blind, including Hero. V1 raises to $240. V2 snap calls. It gets folded to Hero. Hero calls.
My thinking here was that a bad c-bet is more likely than not between these two players, and I love having position in this allin or fold spot. I know V1 game's very well and am certain he has AAxx here. V2 can literally have any four cards.
Any thoughts much appreciated

if effective stacks were like 2k it would be totally fine but now i find this call really marginal

I don't hate it. I'd like it better if you had two suits or were a little less gappy but it's not bad. You're 30% against AA and a random hand. I also don't mind gambling a little in this spot because if you win you'll have both villains covered for future hands. Do you think V1 is betting 100% of all flops or could he find a fold on an 876 board if he checks and you or V2 pots?

Thanks for the feedback so far - keep it coming.
Tom, V1 isn't betting 100% of flops but I would expect him to bet close to 75% of flops. He is the kind of player who will never c/r in this spot and if he checks will fold to any normal sized bet.

I would fold to the second raise. Your hand is not strong enough and can be very costly...wait for a better spot.

I like a raise to 16 preflop. Would save you a lot of trouble, then when v1 3 bet with AA xx, lot cheaper.
Problem here is that the straddler is obviously making a move, and his range is so wide here, so you really don't know where you stand (if you played just vs the AA hand, much easier to know what to do)
I guess you can call here, but like other posters pointed out, really only have one bet left, and whenever you get in vs aces with only one bet left on flop, you have been outplayed.
