Obviously one of the all-time worst trades. However, if John Beck takes us 0-16 and we land Andrew Luck (big Luck fan) then it will all be worth it. I'm an advocate of tanking this season as long as we tank with a purpose and give young players experience.

Redskins signed CB Josh Wilson for 3 years @ 13.5 mil (4.5 per season).
Absolute steal!

Not gonna lie, by the time he left I couldn't stand Campbell. Guy was a tool.

I'll never understand why they couldn't give McNabb another shot this season, what with one more year in the system and improved parts around him. Shanahan is writing a huge check here that his ass better cash.

At least the defense should be better. Hell it couldn't be any worse.

Why do you think Campbell was a tool?

As for tanking to get Andrew Luck....unfortunately I think we'll win five or six games this year and take ourselves out of the running. We're just not bad enough.

looks like stokely backed out of the deal and he won't sign - too many wrs.

i like josh wilson - but he's another small corner. although he can actually catch the football unlike any of their dbs outside of hall.

The guy took advantage of all the excuses surrounding the team. No O-line, no receivers, a defense that couldn't get turnovers, coaching changes, etc. In the end, the guy couldn't get it done and was nowhere near a leader. He had no touch, very little accuracy when he wasn't hitting the back for a five yard pass and had no presence in the pocket. I got so sick and tired of people defending the guy. Was he probably a nice guy? Sure but that's it. He was just nice....nice and below average IMO.

i thought campbell came across very team first. i didnt think he threw anyone under the bus.

his biggest problem was he spent way too much time on his back.

I think Kellen Clemens may be the best of the bunch.

I hate everything about our QB situation although I hear Grossman looked pretty good in preseason.

I just don't understand the upside with Shanahan being so emphatic that John Beck is going to be something in the NFL. I mean if he is, great, but if he's not the fan base is going to lose a lot of confidence in him as a coach.

Personally, I think we're ****ed.

I got 2 to 1 odds on the Redskins having a top 3 pick in April's draft.

The running game looks fantastic. Roy Helu has excellent speed.

Lenny Hankerson needs to learn how to catch the ball. Kind of an important skill for a receiver.

O-line is coming along too, though there were a few guys who got through a little too easily against the Colts.

I only watched a few highlights on John Beck but I'm curious, does he use a sidearm delivery on every throw?

Yes, Torain will make the team but may not be ready to play in the opener.
