Bump because I love this team.

We looked alright last night. Still concerned about first team offense. They haven't scored but what? one touchdown this preseason? Still look better than last year.

Yeah, I too am concerned about the offense. I don't understand how Santana Moss did not hang on to that bomb that Sexy Rexy put right on the money in the middle of the field.

There have been some killer drops this preseason...some guys open down field that get over or under thrown. They're moving the ball though so that's encouraging.

Defense should be really really good. I'm pretty confident we will have a strong pash rush, mostly from orakpo and we will force more turnovers. Hopefully Shanny works his magic with the O-Line and we can put out and averageish offensive team. Average Offense and our D seems like a decent recipe for success and gives us a lot to build on.

Cuts come out later today. I'm hearing Jarmon, Tyron and possible Banks will be among the casualties. JJ hasn't progresses since the knee injury last year, the staff likes Barnes better than Tyron and Banks (for all his speed) can't hold onto the GD ball.

I think it'll be tough to do better than 8-8. There just isn't a lot of talent on either side of the ball thanks to that jagoff that ran things prior to this offseason.

I think Banks should be cut. Too many fumbles in the return game and too many drops in the passing game.

Why would we keep Galloway? People seem to think he has earned a spot.

WAPO saying Terrance Austin will be on the practice squad if he clears waivers. They must mean Banks made it or they're planning on bringing in somebody else....Houshamazilli perhaps?

It's almost time, HAIL TO THE REDSKINS and **** DALLAS!!!

I hear Lebron is on the sidelines taking video of his favorite football team - the Cowboys. He's also a Yankees fan. That oughta tell you how much of a douche the guy is.

week 1 was so promising and then week 2 and 3 came and it was back to business as usual for the Redskins. blow a 17 pt 2nd half lead and then get asskicked by the lolrams.

this last week the play calling was so goddamn awful. 2nd half - 1st and goal at the 8 - 3 runs, kick a 22 yard field.....really???? such creative and aggressive play calling. portis 1 carry in the 2nd half. good game plan......OC Shanny is supposed to be a great play caller. wtf happened this week? 3 fgs<30 yards. nice job closing out drives.

also - shanny has to be the most stubborn, unforgiving, passive-aggressive petty prick on earth. either waive/trade haynesworth or play him. its such a huge distraction. and why is devin thomas not playing - wtf did he do? he came on strong 2nd half last year and galloway, armstrong, r.williams are ahead of him? Joey Galloway as the #2 WR - what is this 1998? those guys have 8 catches combined in 3 games. galloway has been shutout in 2 of the 3 games. devin thomas is the only WR with size plus hes got speed. i mean williams is tall but he's like 6-4 170 and cant get off the line or run a route.

i think shanny would rather win some stupid argument/make some ridic point then put the best team on the field. this bs should have been handled in camp and everything settled by the start of the season. just get over it. jesus.

now philly and GB up next.

pretty great win. not sure anything makes much sense. beat dallas. blow a huge lead to houston, lose to the rams, beat the eagles on the road. feel like easily could be 4-0 and crushing the division. at least still in the race, i guess. huge game against green bay next week.

I feel like we could easily be 4-0, 0-4 or 2-2. All are equally likey.

Yeah, the 'skins are a weird team this year. For some reason they don't show the games around my area as much as they used to so I only caught two of them so far. It really feels like McNabb isn't the answer at QB for this team. It also doesn't help that Portis went down with an injury for the 20th year in a row. However I really feel if Shanahan sticks around and keeps a solid plan together for the long-term future for the team they will be much improved. Which I feel is by far the biggest detriment that has faced the team over the last decade it feels like.

Time to get this thread going again.

Jarmon just got traded for 30yo receiver. So if I have this right, we now have for WRs:

- Moss
- Gaffney
- Armstrong
- Hankerson
- Banks
- Kelly
- Stallworth

At most they carry.....what five of these guys? I guess bringing in Stallworth is basically just a flyer. Hopefully this makes the Braylon Edwards talk go away.

I will never understand this team's fascination with the WR position. Give me OL and DL help any day. Oh and a friggin QB would be nice.

I think the defense will be better, at least. Especially if they can get somebody like Cullen Jenkins to play one of the Ends.

Hail.

Not thrilled with the Jeremy Jarmon for Jabar Gaffney trade. How many over-the-hill WRs does this team need?

Then again, last year we signed Larry Johnson and Willie Parker so hopefully some of these guys aren't going to make the team.

Anybody else miss Jason Campbell? We basically traded a 2 and a 4 to the Eagles for a 6....

yeah it was a clusterf of a trade.

i didnt mind campbell. i think he did a lot of things well. but, he wasnt really suited for the offense they were running. he's a solid nfl starter for sure but he's not a top 10 qb or anything.........but he's a hell out of a lot better than john beck.

you obviously need depth going into training camp. but it would be nice to see a better mix of young and 30+ers.
