Bad news on the hunt for andrew luck: The bengals are completely ****ing terrible and not just pretty mediocre like the skins will be. Dalton looks awful

Agree that they're gonna suck.

Beck never ONCE went down the field. He made Jason Campbell look like Brett Farve. On a 3rd and long in the Red Zone (going off of memory), they ran a draw. On another play, replay showed a guy somewhat open in the corner of the RZ and Beck took off for a six yard scamper.

Trent Williams has never looked more like a bust than he did on Saturday. I'm not saying he IS one, but he was beaten like a drum in pass protection every which way but loose and had his hands on his fat ass hips by the second quarter. The warning signs coming out of college about this kid was his work ethic and dedication. I can see why now.

A few good points:

Running game looks exciting. This line is doing a better job than we've seen in the past few years of opening holes (preseason, OBV). Hightower looks like Portis in Denver. Since I see a steady rotation of Hightower and Helu/Torrain, we probably don't have to worry as much about one of these guys wearing down.

I think the defense looks better, at least in the front seven, but we need to see an actual gameplan implemented before we really get excited.

Terrance Austin is my man. I'm rooting for him to make the team and I think he can do it all. He just needs more reps.

Unknown:

Who the hell knows about the secondary? I think they're in trouble, especially if Landry can't be back by the start of the season.

Overall, it's still a team devoid of a bunch of overpaid douches that I can get behind.

this is bad news. i thought williams had a lot of upside - big risk but big reward. i liked okung but i think he had less upside, but was a safer pick.

but okung seems like he's been injured a lot and can't stay on the field. so who knows.

with helu - he is good as a part time back. 10 or 12, 15 carries a game max. going in with hightower torain and helu is pretty good though. royster and maybe keiland williams as insurance. i mean torain is guaranteed to miss some games.

i think the mid round pick db dejon gomes has had a nice camp.

any idea when landry is back?

i think first cutdown day is aug 31 and then final cutdown to 53man on sep 3- should be interesting.

The line against the Giants looks hella fishy. I thought it would be around 10.

Why would you post that but not include what the line actually is lol?

For those interested, the Skins are a 3 point dog and the total is 38.
