Just wanted to say as a Detroit Lions/OSU fan, Go Dawgs! Even though Stafford hasn't been playing too well as of late, I'm still a fan.

First of all, GOOOO DAWGS! Wrecking Tech is always so ****ing sweet...



Few notes:
1) Not happy at all to see Tyson get hurt right away. According to the announcers, he is questionable for LSU, but I'm really hoping for him. Always hate to see a big contributor go down, especially a senior

2) We handled Tech, but a lot of that was b/c Tevin Washington is ****ing AIDS as a QB. We can't have that type of soft coverage next week and expect to not get romped by LSU.

3) Malcom Mitchell is a ****ing BEAST.

4) Tevin Washington is the best UGA player in this rivalry since Reggie Ball.

5) The announcers for this game were SOOOO awful. Anybody else think they were ridiculously homerific toward Tech? "UGA should play this [in-state rivalry game] like an NFL team that has already clinched home-field" and "CMR going for it on 4th and 1 because his team isn't mentally prepared for this game" were 2 of the many mouthbreathing gems that this crew uttered. When I was a kid, I used to mute the games on TV and listen to Munson on the radio despite the few second delay from radio/TV. I have never missed that more than I missed it today.

6) Speaking of Munson, as a former 4-year Redcoat, I was really happy to see this today at halftime.



I think Larry would have been proud of the way the Dawgs put the whipping on the nerds today. Once a Dawg, always a Dawg, how sweet it is! RIP Larry

Also, was talking to my dad today about football and he said something about CMR stepping down after this season (regardless of the outcome) to do other things? As in, not coach. Anywhere.

Hoping this is just hearsay bull**** obv. He also said that top 2 candidates for replacing him were Derek Dooley or Mike Bobo.

First I've heard of this and I consider myself to be pretty connected with the UGA program. Those are some pretty underwhelming candidates. This sounds completely made up to me. Other than being Vince's son, what in the world would endear Derek professionally with UGA's football program?

Was initially thinking the same thing, except for the source. The old man's a 40 year member of the bulldog club just north of atlanta and reads up on stuff constantly about GA football. On the surface though I completely agree.

I'd guess the initial spread will be in the 14.5-15.5 area. Would be very tempted to take the Dawgs on that line.

yea it's BS. 5-6 days ago an article showed up saying that CMR was gonna step down etc and it turned out to be fake. CMR also instantly shot it down and said he was gonna stay til they fired him. In addition to Dooley and Bobo there was also a 3rd candidate that was equally hilarious that pretty much gave it away as a joke that i can't remember right now. (No ****ing way we'd be interested in Dooley..and probably not Bobo i would think)

Anybody know why we dropped to #14 and Sparty jumped to #13 after quite literally identical games (31-17 victory on the road) except vs unranked 6-5 Northwestern as opposed to #23 8-3 GT?

I'm not saying UGA is better than Michigan State. I think it'd be a damn good game actually. I just have no f idea why UGA was ranked above them after week 13 and not after week 14?

I have no idea how to evaluate that line. I feel Georgia matches up well and can keep it close, but I'm biased. Another side of me realizes LSU has been steamrolling great teams and thinks this game shouldn't be much different

LSU sort of has nothing to play for. They are going to play Bama for the BCS championship win or lose against UGA and could possibly overlook this game mentally. Richt and the players on the other hand have been playing with purpose(except vs Kentucky) and seem really hungry. The defense took a few games to get it together under the new def coordinator but now is tough as nails. The offense avg 34 pts a game now with Murray, Mitchell and Crowell playing well.

UGA is going to win.

And it's not like LSU's next game is the week after either. They won't play for a month so there's no way they overlook this.

UGA gonna have to play well and get a couple breaks, not hope LSU shows up unprepared.

I think it just comes down to not turning the ball over tbh. If the RB's can hold on to the football and Murray plays solid I like our chances.

Jeez, I thought my $120 stubhub tickets for the game were a good deal, but they're down to $105 minimum right now. Shockingly cheap.

Oh well, I've never seen an SECCG or UGA play at the Dome and was thinking hard about paying $200.
