Haven't seen nearly enough discussion of that second targeting call. The call itself was lolbad and pretty likely changed the outcome of the game. We would have had the ball in the fourth quarter up by two possessions. Instead Vandy had the ball in our red zone. Probably a swing from 90%+ win equity to ~70%, if I had to guess.

Total bull****.

Very 2012 Falcons-esque in how they ran up a big lead early and almost blew it late.

But whatever, 3 wins in a row over Florida is still a good win.

Yeah I honestly thought this was the year we'd just put it on them and win by 30+ after that first quarter.

What was Gurley's deal? Just out of shape or something? He crushed in his limited playing time anyways so not complaining, but it was weird to hear that. I was watching at a block party in Decatur so couldn't really hear what was going on.

He apparently didn't even have a towel under the door ffs. Most people are smart enough to build something (i.e. toilet paper roll stuffed w/ dryer sheets), or AT LEAST put a wet towel under the door.

According to the report, he initially lied to the cops (repeatedly, like 3x) about having anything in the room. Hopefully that doesn't make things worse for him wrt suspension. CMR tends to take lying to the cops fairly sternly.

edit: also mildly upset at the RA that called the cops without saying anything to the people first. I mean obv just doing his job, but c'mon man...

Until that last drive before halftime I was going to say we're getting run off the field.

It's ugly but we get the ball start of the 2nd half and Aaron has shown he can move the ball when he has time.

The defense simply has to figure out this Auburn running game tho.

Now don't get me wrong, I DO hate Auburn,

This is the first time I've watched them closely all year, and that offense is truly something to behold.

And all it is, it's basically just the zone read, jet sweep, keepers, and play actions off all that, over and over. The way they get you leaning outside and zone read inside, it's real tough to defend. Especially tough watching our (UGA's) GARBAGE defense getting shredded over and over.

As a football purist and with no rooting interest, the Iron Bowl should be a lot of fun this year.
