It's that time again! I searched for UGA FB thread but didn't see one. Growing up in North GA has been a great experience for me. There is no team in all of sports that captures me like the Dawgs do! If/when they ever win the big one I will be there with a tear dripping from my eye.

Anyway, this won't be the best OP but it's a start.

2011 Schedule, We better play more games then this!



Our Leader, Aaron Murry, Sophomore this year that looked good last year. I think it is his time to shine.



Freshman sensation Isaiah Crowell, Lots of pressure for a freshman with all the other injuries/ineligibles. Hopefully Crowell can live up to the Hype!



Malcolm Mitchell has been performing well so far, Hopefully he can step up and be a great WR for the next few years.



His seat is Hot! A great guy who recruits well but is gonna have to get the job done this year with the soft schedule.



We all know that Success is going to come down to the defensive performance. Hopefully the JR/SRs are going to step up and provide a sold D for the Dawgs this year. I feel like the offense should fine if we can avoid injures and keep the O line in good shape.



Wouldn't be a UGA thread without a mention of the Legend himself. We miss you in the booth Larry! I grew up watching the game on tv(muted) listening to Larry on the radio(as did many others).



Anyway, like I said not the best OP but I gotta get the Dome!!!

At least we don't have a near exhibition game against a cupcake to open the season. I'd rather have a real data point against a solid football team so we don't have to suffer another week of delusion that we're a brand new football team.

And CMR can definitely survive a loss against Carolina. We're definitely not going to let him go after week 2, and every game after that is entirely winnable.

I say 8-4 with a win against UF and he stays for sure (without UF win he still prob stays). 7-5 could go either way. 6-6 and he's probably gone.

Your analysis at the end is dead-on. All the people that think there's even a 1% chance CMR is fired after a Carolina non-30+pt victory are completely delusional and probably just haters.

Even if 0-2, not that huge a deal. UGA is only BCS school to open against 2 ranked teams. We knew these would be two tough games. I don't see any reason why UGA can't rebound and win 8 of their last 10. In fact, UGA will be favored in every single game for the rest of the season besides perhaps UF.

South Carolina -2.5 is the line right now. Both this line and the Boise line felt a bit favorable to UGA to me, but I couldn't ever bet against the Dawgs. Fortunately, Carolina looked like ass agaisnt ECU. Maybe they suck this year?

I def think we have much better chance in this game then we did last week(hindsight!). SC is going to be good this year. They came out slow 1st half but played more like we can expect in the 2nd half.

Its almost always a good game, I wish we getting +3 tho.

Yeah, putting Garcia in the game for some reason seemed to change the entire team's dynamic even on special teams.

We'll see, I guess. Our OL needs to shape up fast...not having Sturdivant is a real devastator.
