Ryan Boatright, a high school senior point guard who committed to UConn a few weeks ago, put up 55 points (22 of 36 shooting), 10 rebounds and 10 steals last night.

Boatright had the ball as the clock ran out, with East Aurora coach Wendell Jeffries yelling at him to shoot the ball. He didn’t.
“I knew he was one point away from [Tom] Kivisto’s school record of 56,” Jeffries said. “And it would have been nice to get it in a game that was competitive, not a blowout.”
