Two of these things are not like the other.

AA was pretty adamant about not rushing him along, so I would say probably after the all star break at the absolute earliest

unless we somehow trade Overbay before the deadline, I don't see why we would bring him up at all. so he can sit on the bench while Cito plays big Lyle everyday?

Well Ruiz and Mccoy's are pretty much rookie's despite their age, who possibly have some value if given 200abs~ to see if they can compete in the majors.

Mccoy would be like Chone Figgins if he turns out good, and Ruiz could be a slugging 1b, but we will probably never know with Cito, with 5-6 years of service control if they work out which can be cheap.

If they flutter you just send them to AAA, or release them. Hence why it makes little to no sense over-playing gonzalez, bautista, overbay, tallet, etc

I heard Cito launched a cloud of volcanic ash into the air over Iceland, preventing all air traffic in Europe.

They aren't like rookies they have been journeyman in the minors. None of those teams deemed them fit for major league service. It is not like they were construction workers who decided to try this baseball thing out, they were professional baseball players who weren't good enough to play at a major league level.

It certainly prevented all traffic to the Dome, from the looks of it.

No sir, Mccoy was blocked in col by stewart/tulo/atkins of which two were top 5 picks. Yes Mccoy isnt a slugger so he might not look pretty from the outside loooking in, but he definitely has value. Like I said earlier based on his AAA stats last 2 years, he has the making of a leadoff hitter with high obp with some sb's(aka chone figgens).

Ruiz maybe you could call a journeymen, but if someone puts up an ops over 1 in 125~abs, I think he deserves more of a look.

Cito respects the volcanic ash as it is a veteran that has been in the game for 100+ years waiting in the volcano for its turn to leave.

Anyways pudge we could argue forever and ever, but theirs no point in playing the old guys when at best we will win 75 games. Bautista,Overbay,Buck,Molina,Tallet, etc have little to no future in this team, while McCoy, Ruiz, Cecil, Mills, Rzep, etc have a future because their cheap and team controllable for 5-6 years.

You might as while give the cheap ones a shot with 200-300abs~ this year, and if they fail, you move on, and if they succeed, you have a cheap option available in the future.

"HI VERNON WELLS! VERNON! VERNON! HI VERNON! DO YOU WANT TO COME TO MY HOUSE FOR DINNER, VERNON? HI VERNON!"

Some friends and a I sat a few rows in front of him, just behind the visitors bullpen one night last year. We could hear his voice reverberating off the other side of the dome. Unbelievable projection. He yelled hello to every member of the Jays, starting with the lineup and ending with the Jays' pen. The A's bullpen loved him and Vernon was doing title belt gestures in CF when the kid was yelling to him about wrestling.

it is on 385, Marcum is pitching really well, the 1st inning they hit all good pitches and Marcum got no help from the ump.

Also, currently watching the Jays in person in my underwear while drinking beer. Love my life
