MINNEAPOLIS -- The Blue Jays rotation took a hit on Tuesday, when the club placed right-hander Jesse Litsch on the 15-day disabled list with soreness in his throwing elbow and forearm. Toronto recalled lefty Bill Murphy from Triple-A Las Vegas to take Litsch's spot on the roster.

Murphy, 27, will likely move into the bullpen, which has been taxed over the past week. That means the Blue Jays would still need to name a starter for Saturday's game against Oakland in Toronto.

Romero just struck out Morneau on a nasty pitch...really like what I am seeing from the kid. 93 pitches through 8, doing very well for his 2nd career start IMO

This is a pretty good article, and I didn't know about those ramps in the 500s, good stuff. He doesn't talk about the alcohol, but it's difficult to be too cautious here. My buddies and I got booted last year not when we snuck our mickies in but when we (surreptitiously? hard to remember) pulled them out when we were seated. Apparently they have undercover cops in the stands looking for this sort of thing. WTF.

I'm probably too pussy to sneak in, but I'm planning a road trip to Toronto this summer for a few Jays games. Definitely up for some drunken enjoyment.

Also: Is there any damn way I can at least get these games on the radio? I'm not paying for mlb.com, I would never watch/listen to a baseball game that doesn't involve the Jays.

Gene Tenace for MVP, seriously the Jays have the best hitting coach and the best pitching coach in the majors and Cito is pretty good too.
