Jesse Litsch placed on 15-day DL.

...

Murphy, 27, will likely move into the bullpen, which has been taxed over the past week. That means the Blue Jays would still need to name a starter for Saturday's game against Oakland in Toronto.
Yikes.

And jesus christ, get a curve on your goddamn baseball hat while you've got two weeks away from the team while you're at it. You're a rejected redheaded bat boy from Tampa Bay, not some black hoodlum from the ghetto. This is baseball, the sport of champions, not some Kanye West rap video.

Romero working into the 8th tonight, still less than 100 pitches. Good outing so far in a 2-2 ballgame.

Romero just struck out Morneau on a nasty pitch...really like what I am seeing from the kid. 93 pitches through 8, doing very well for his 2nd career start IMO

Apparently they have undercover cops in the stands looking for this sort of thing. WTF.

Anyone else down for this friday/weekend? We can bring a "Travis will you marry me sign?" sign.

I'm probably too pussy to sneak in, but I'm planning a road trip to Toronto this summer for a few Jays games. Definitely up for some drunken enjoyment.

Also: Is there any damn way I can at least get these games on the radio? I'm not paying for mlb.com, I would never watch/listen to a baseball game that doesn't involve the Jays.

Solid 12-2 outing. Too bad I had Baker starting in my fantasy league...

Our bullpen is ridiculously deep. You realize we have Accardo and Wolf at AAA, right?

Anything less than 10-4 after this weekend would be disappointing given the current state of the A's, imo.

Gene Tenace for MVP, seriously the Jays have the best hitting coach and the best pitching coach in the majors and Cito is pretty good too.
