True, but variance which way? Will the hitting improve (currently bottom 5 in the majors in slugging and OPS) and they start winning some of these games, or does the pitching fall off (currently 4th in ERA and OPS against, 5th in FIP, second in starter ERA) and they’re not in as many close games to start with?
I mean, their BABIP is absurdly bad, even with a small sample, so I would hope it’s the former, but who knows.
