Like half of our lineup will strikeout 25-30%, so this lineup will be super high variance.

People talking like Tulo might be back near the all-star break, like that is a good thing...lol? I for one not looking forward to an even worse Tulo than we have when he was actually healthy. Why not put him on the 600 day DL and move on...lol

Everyone dancing around Josh's shoulder injury, I don't buy the dead arm thing a bit.
When I was 22 and had some bursitis in my shoulder it hurt, but only at full extension. So, I short-armed throws, just like Josh is doing. That didn't work so well so I got a cortizone shot (which hurt like hell, BTW) and quit ball for the season. Not saying he has bursitis, but all of us here who played at any level know the difference between a dead arm ( losing a few MPH) and losing 15+ MPH off your throw. Not saying Josh has bursitis, but it is joke not to think extension = pain.

And, what is it with the jays not seeming to know (or want to know) anything more than Josh is saying about it? This hands-off approach worked well for Tulo, who probably should have been off to see a specialist long ago. But, no, they wait til opening day, FFS.

Who on the Jays is running the show on the injury assessment/treatment front?

Yes. Still believe (more now than before ) that it was not a dead arm. Not with the major drop off in velocity he had.

Glad it doesn't hurt to extend his arm/shoulder.
Glad it was not more serious (like a tear or bad inflammation).

Looking back at what I wrote, I would not change a word. There is nothing I wrote that is inconsistent with his current situation.

You buying the dead arm explanation?

Was hoping Grichuk would hit... I know it is early but would like to see something.

Granderson has been a nice addition. Also can be trouble on the bases.

Certainly we can piece our spare parts/platoon players into a better DH than Morales..

How about Solarte, Diaz Granderson, Pearce and even Travis or Martin on the odd day off.. Just mix and match day-to-day.

Yeah I'd be cool with Morales only ever playing on days where the other team starts a lefty. He's essentially useless against RHP.

Lansing (Jays' High A team) won 6-4 yesterday. They only had two hits, a single and a double in the 7th inning. 12 walks, 3 wild pitches.

No big deal on the rainout. Game to be made up on May 10th or something, improves the chances of missing out on Kluber, who was supposed to start today. I'd rather have as many off days as possible while it's cold and while Donaldson is out.
