Nice that we managed to win despite Happ getting rocked.

Gibby got way to cute with the bullpen. There is no need to play lefty, righty with a four run lead in the eighth. Wasting Grilli, when we should be trying to preserve Osuna in a crazy low leverage spot is really dumb.

ya that was pretty wtf with Benoit out and Osuna banged up

hopefully Liriano is ok going forward as well

Sanchez cruising for ~8 in a win on Sunday would be nice

doesn't matter if the game goes 22 innings on Sunday and even Barney's arm gets used up, they will all have time to fully rest as long as they win

I understand the Red Sox and the Cubs will get the highest ratings and they want to get them in primetime, but giving the Jays/Rangers a day game after a night game and giving LA a 4PM EST game in LA after they played a 1PM EST game in Washington is unfair to the players. I understand that they get paid because of tv revenues, which are related to ratings, but you think you could have some wiggle room when your scheduling ends up being taxing for half the teams remaining in the playoffs.

1. Great win. Josh is amazing. I love everyone, etc.

2. Gibby's BP management was terrible. He doesn't seem to understand that a fresh arm is an asset. He managed the tie game as if we were winning. Cecil should have faced Moreland, Biagini should have started the 7th. Grilli should have finished the 8th. Cecil should have started the 9th. We had a huge edge in the game because the Rangers only had Bush/Dyson going into the 8th and we blew it by letting Grilli, Biagini, Cecil throw 24 pitches.
