So here's my glass is half full take on the 2 injuries.

Benoit was on a heater and is due to crash, kind of like Grilli has recently.

Barney has 1.8 WAR in 302 PA's, and Travis has 2.5 WAR in 415 PA's, so it's mostly just a loss of depth. Barney is definitely an upgrade defensively, and it makes up for the loss of DT's bat.

Losing Benoit sucks, but N3 RHP pitcher our of the pen is not that valuable a commodity.

Travis is still day to day and x-rays were negative. Hopefully he will be back for the playoffs. While Barney < Travis he is still probably ~ 1 WAR/162 so it's not *that* big a drop off if we choose to play him. The key is to make sure we play Barney over Goins.
