I suspect we let Saunders go and try to resign one of EE or Bats. No way we get both and we don't want both because they are both disasters in the field and are only getting worse. I expect Upton to be an everyday player.

If we let Saunders go (2.9M), one of Joey (13.5M) or EE (9.67M), along with Dickey (12.5M), Benoit (7.75M), Grilli (4M), Cecil (3.8M), Feldman (2.75M), and a few others with miniscule salaries.

That's a bunch of money, so who would we then try to use that money on?

The one game playoff is scary. But having a bad stretch isn't surprising. We started the year something like 21-25 so it's not like we killed it all year. And no player of any real value is on the DL so no reason not to be optimistic.

Rotation getting tired. Is what's killing them.

I really wish when only down 1 they'd play for 1. Even if the big guys are up. When down 4 or up then swing away.
