Travis is now 2nd on the team in WAR for position players, behind only Donaldson. He's played 58 of 113 games. He's passed Edwin, Saunders, Pillar, Tulo despite each having played at least 85 games.

Yeah I agree. He's never going to continue to give up 2.2HR/9, and people overstate how Petco suppresses offence, but Pomeranz was on a bit of a heater in SD and Preller got DD to pay out the dick.

Bautista out again for 15 days...can we please stop putting him in the outfield?

The Upton pickup is looking really important right now...except that he has no extra base hits, no steals, basically done nothing since joining the Jays.

Pretty brutal to have Bautista, Pillar and Carrera all out at the same time.

Martin at cleanup seems ridiculous. All year he's been pretty much the weakest hitting regular on the team, no reason not to just have him bat 8th or 9th.

Lineup construction means very, very little over the grand scheme of things, especially in any single game, but this is just a straight bad nit to pick.
