Plus one thing is this whole situation is getting thrown out of proportion. Riciardi is saying the same thing he has been for nearly 2 years about Halladay/Any Player. Just that Rosenthal chose to blow it out of proportion and it spread from that..

I would tell any team that wants Halladay that they have to take Wells with him. Then with the money we save, re-sign Halladay in 2 years. Easy game.

Plus we will get a boatload for Halladay if we trade him, Riciardi has never done any stupid trades in his 8 years here. I've always been a fan of him, and he will get us several top prospects, we won't get ****ed like Minnesota did for Santana.

btw, I heard on the FAN this morning that, prior to this season, BJ had the lowest ERA of any reliever in Jays history, including Henke.

BJ always seemed like an awesome guy, it's not surprising that his delivery led to injuries, which led to him being ineffective, but he still seemed cool.
