Even though he looked pretty overmatched against Severino, Kawasaki got probably the biggest ovation of the entire night on Tuesday when he dropped down a sac but in the 8th.

PitchFX has the Heathcott pitch in a distinctly different spot than the Martin one, ftr. Captain Fluffy wronging pretty hard and looking bad doing it.

All I ask is consistency from the Umpire Staff.

Same spot on the opposite side of the plate.

Pitch by pitch on the post game show clearly depicts the ball getting plate. (Over head camera)

Bailey's (pitch in question is the one with the 5 on to it):

Osuna's, inside-out'ed:

Not saying one's a strike and the other isn't, but but the Martin one is a pretty clear ball outside. This sour grapes isn't a great look. Score some runs, get a better framer, etc.

Bought all my playoff tickets 2 weeks ago and I booked a Tampa trip for the final series of the season. I booked this months ago thinking they'd be battling right up until the last game. They may have this clinched in a few days

5 & 5 both basically in the same location. One called a ball, one called a strike.

One is strike three and an inning (and rally) ender, the other is a much more impactful blown call.

Except they're clearly not in the same location so...there's that.

So Buerhle has 2 starts to throw 14.2 innings to get to 200 for the 15th consecutive time.

Odds appear to be against him. That last start he got quite unlucky on a bunch of jam shots and bad defensive plays. Probably cost him his chance.

Could throw him in the bullpen if they clinch early enough. Gibby said last year that they'd do that if he fell just short and had a fresh enough arm

I'll admit that when heathcott was called out... I thought it was a bad call but lol at thinking the pitch to Martin is a strike.
