Vernon showed his lack of range tonight. One, if not both, hits were catchable by most Centerfielders.

I highly disagree, Vernon got a great jump on both balls and took a direct route running full speed. Vernon has not looked great at times in the field, but those balls were possibly catchable by less than 5 cfs in the game if any.

But isn't he one of the top 5 highest paid CF's in the game today?

Vernon is the only player I have ever seen that doesn't prep himself before every pitch... and he didn't have a good jump on either balls.

What a terrible game to attend.

why cant Cito leave Frasor out there for like 2 innings, he is awesome. I like Carlson, but was swearing when I saw him start the 8th.

Carleson's supposed to be good vs. left handed batters?

Ya, matsui had a good swing, and carlson threw a decent pitch.

Carlson is very good, but Frasor is lights out. I mean he might be the best non closer bullpen guy in baseball right now. Let him just pitch to a bunch of guys.

Ricciardi on Romero/Janssen: "Right now we don't have a spot for them. That could change real quick."

Ricciardi on Richmond, Tallet, Cecil and Ray: "They haven't done anything to lose their spots."

Great game.

Am I the only one who's slightlu nervous with a 5 run lead and BJ on the mound?

Not sure hendrix, give him a few outings to see if he has any command at all. Today was ok, not as brutal as some of his outings earlier.

Just came back from the game, Jays games are fun to go to these days.

When Dye hit the HR, my drunk ass stood up and applauded, and this guy asked me "what the hell?"...I responded with "he's on my fantasy team" (yeah I know, so many beats going on), which followed by a couple people saying "**** YOUR FANTASY TEAM"

The Jays were up 8-3 at this time...I'm loving the crowds that come out. As for the game, <3 Cecil and BJ!!! And also Aaron Hill the 3rd best 2B in the MLB.
