Clement got destroyed today, and Richmond too so far

4.1ip, 6h, 8er, 7bb, 2so

So it will be Mills and Romero??? lolol baring some unforseen injury it seems for the first month or so...

Mills is a odd pitcher, his delivery/motion is a left handed version of what Lincecum does, he hides his pitches well, but he only throws high 80s.

It'll probably still be Mills and Richmond... but wow Richmond is horrible. Clement has got to be out of the picture after today. Sign Pedro FTW? (yeah, right) Call Cecil back up, quick!

Anyone else going to be pretty pleased to have Shawn Hill? I like that pickup a lot.

Somehow romero has been getting drastically better in spring. I guess arnsberg must have had some big tips to help him.

Romero had a sick outing for his sake, 7ip 8 h, 2er, 6k, 0bb.

I think it will be him and Mills taking the 4 and 5.

Looks like Scotty Richmond gets the nod for the 5th spot in the rotation.

Accardo got sent down to AAA as well.

Halladay, Litsch, Purcey, Romero and Richmond will get the starts, with Ryan, Downs, Carlson, Tallet, Frasor, Camp and League out of the bullpen. Correct me if I've made mistakes anywhere.

Since the Jays don't have a day off until April 20th, I guess that means Richmond will get at least two starts, @CLE and @MIN.

Everyone have their opening day tickets yet? Monday night is fast approaching. Looks like the good Doctor takes on Justin Verlander in the season opener, and it appears games two through four should feature Litsch, Percey and Romero taking on Edwin Jackson, Zach Minor and 20-year old Rick Porcello, who will be making his MLB debut. I don't see any major advantage for either team in the series based on starting pitchers alone (except for Halladay's game, obv), so it looks like this series should be up for grabs.

It's nice that instead of trading Accardo when he had legitimiate closer value, we've managed to hold onto him long enough to render him valueless.

It's seasons like this I'm happy that half my family lives in Chicago...makes me feel less guilty about cheering for the White Sox.

What is this now, year 9 of Ricciardi's 5-year plan? Hell, even JFJ didn't get this many second chances. Shows you how much Toronto really cares about the Jays...so sad, because 15-20 years ago, T.O. was a baseball-mad city.

Clement to retire.

You know it's the end of the line when you can't make the '09 Jays starting rotation!
