How the **** does a 6'11" pitcher throw so soft? ****ing embarrassing.

If our crack staff of "closers" this season wasn't such a disaster, we'd actually still be in the playoff race.

It's the hockey hatred that I don't get. It was a given with everyone I grew up with - hockey in the winter, ball in the summer, both playing and watching. It's the most beautiful Canadian sports union there is.

If this team didn't lead the bigs in blown saves, we'd still be in the ****ing wild card race.

Villanueva on the DL, Snider demoted to AAA, Lawrie called up. I don't know why the Jays like Thames more than Snider?

You probably call them casual baseball fans, but I call them leaf fans. I dont hate leafs fans, I just hate talking to leaf fans about baseball. Just read the tsn.ca jays game comments in a few hrs, try not to piss your pants laughing

So snider to aaa, lawrie is up... how low is Snider's value now?

Not sure if about snider, cooper and thames...
We have a spot for one of them next year... Sadly Cooper might be the best of the 3 of them...

One stat I heard that was kind of ridiculous. The jays are 5-11 in games where they have blown saves and have blown 19 saves.

So I guess you'd rather have 12,000 a game at the Dome for the rest of your life just to keep out the "Leaf fans?"

I dunno, just seems like it riles you up way more than it should.

On a more positive note about the bullpen. I have always been and still am a huge Casey Jansen fan, seems like he has always been solid, was willing to put in good spot starts or long relief outings if need be.

If Leaf fans knew anything, they wouldn't be supporting their team anymore.

Pretty sure he throws harder than 99%+ of people 6'11 or taller.

So all the fairweather jays fans should get props for waiting til they're a contender?

(just want to know what you're implying)

I'm implying that Jays fans force their team to action with their attendance, while the Leafs have obviously been given no incentive by theirs to get any better. You say fairweather, I say appropriately fickle. If you're going to charge me $8 for a hot dog, you'd better damn well be doing everything possible to improve the on field/ice product.
