I think it's really weird that he thinks the average baseball fan is smart. It's like the only baseball fans he runs into are on the internet.
It's the hockey hatred that I don't get. It was a given with everyone I grew up with - hockey in the winter, ball in the summer, both playing and watching. It's the most beautiful Canadian sports union there is.

So I guess you'd rather have 12,000 a game at the Dome for the rest of your life just to keep out the "Leaf fans?"
I dunno, just seems like it riles you up way more than it should.
On a more positive note about the bullpen. I have always been and still am a huge Casey Jansen fan, seems like he has always been solid, was willing to put in good spot starts or long relief outings if need be.
I'm implying that Jays fans force their team to action with their attendance, while the Leafs have obviously been given no incentive by theirs to get any better. You say fairweather, I say appropriately fickle. If you're going to charge me $8 for a hot dog, you'd better damn well be doing everything possible to improve the on field/ice product.
