Control IP / Service Time

Also last year was Cecil's first year as SP, he was closer in college, he doesnt have many IP under his belt. Also Mills might not even be ready, last year most of his stats were in A/A+ and a bit of AA, and so far hes gotten spanked in ST and AAA.

Are you sure. What I saw Cecil has a pretty decent amount of starts going back to 2007.

Mills hasn't done that bad this year. And if he did it's like a double negative that cancels out with Burres being terrible in AAA this year. 6 games with a 1.1ERA, and 1.1 WHIP last year in double A's prety solid imo.

Nice win today, especially with Doc not having grade-A stuff.

I don't say it very often, but tonight, go Yankees.

Is this permanent or because of Ryans injury only? Downs is lights out... they need to just leave him at closer.

everyone want to move snider up in the order? Why he is the 3rd best lefty in our lineup right now, who are you going to switch him with?

He's even smaller then Lincecum and is only 19.

He's probably even smaller then his listed 5'7'' 155 size.

Frasor is listed as 5'10'' and hes 5'8''.

He was signed outta high school, he lived in the same town where JP lives(Worcester, MA).

Supposedly JP's kids saw him at some local high school games, told JP, then he scouted one game, then signed him shortly after.

He was undrafted in his final year in high school, I don't think many teams would be interested in a 5'7( probably shorter in his last year of hs) pitcher.

Damn, seriously not that bad of an idea. Unfortunately I'm too poor to come up with this idea before someone else does.

My next door neighbour is a B-horror movie producer, not that it's all that relevant.

Also, this thread is on pace for ~2,676 posts (excl. playoffs ldo) - or until the middle of the summer when we're 7 GBWC.

wow, so looking at the pitching match-ups against KC, I'd say splitting the series with our makeshift starting pitching would be pretty good
