How do we not have a thread????

Hopefully Campbell can finally show some improvement now that there is at least some continuity.

LOL. I predict 8-8 or 9-7, missing the playoffs, aka the Washington Redskins special

We will have a top 5 defense for sure. Its all on the offense.

BTW, I heard CP layed out Haynesworth on block during practice.

Also, D Hall says he has big news concerning MV (Michael Vick) I guess we shall see.....

Haynesworth is gonna be huge for them. He'll help in the field position battle as well.

CP has tons of mileage on him, hopefully he can stay healthy this year.

I imagine Campbell's confidence must be shot after they tried to replace him all offseason long.

Orakpo will be huge. Might actually have a guy with more than 4 sacks this year. Defense will be very solid this yr.

Offense should be better if Thomas and/or Kelly can make some contributions.

When are rosters finalized? A guy I know is a rookie and trying to make the squad, and was just curious.

Final cuts this year are on September 5th or 6th I imagine. Right after the final preseason game. There are a few round of cuts before.

I know I'm in the minority but I really think Jason Campbell will fully catch on this year and earn a contract extension. He just needs the O-Line to help him out and he needs some contributions from Devin Thomas or Malcolm Kelly.

Why are we opening the season @ NYG again??

I'm very excited about Orakpo/Haynesworth.

Muresan, who is your rookie friend?

Big Ed Williams. I knew him in high school, and he's one of the coolest guys ever. He's one of the guys that's so nice that you hope he completely succeeds at all times.

ive been targeting skins defense in every fantasy league. ffoc scoring is bit different, it more heavily favors points against which the skins have been good at last couple years. now with haynesworth i figure they will be a beastly low scoring d.

what am i missing?

he already tweaked his knee in training camp. Knowing the Redskins it's pretty much a guarantee that Haynesworth will miss at least 6 games this season thus making him the next defensive player to not live up to their reputation. The previous?

Spoiler:
Sean Taylor

Patrick Ramsey and Jason Campbell are not a good comparison. Ramsey is a backup in this league, nothing more. JC will need to have an ultra-bad season (or get hurt) this year to not be a starter somewhere in the NFL next season.

How did Sean Taylor not live up to expectations?

Also, I'm getting sick of the local media harping on scoring 0 points last weekend. We scored a combined six points in the final two preseason games last year and yet we scored 29 points against the Saints in Week 2, 24 against Arizona in Week 3, 26 against Dallas in Week 4 and 23 versus the Eagles in Week 5.

Preseason play is not indicative of regular season success.

Yea I was kidding I really liked Sean Taylor. Ovie kinda reminds me of him a little in that he just hurls his body at people. Obligatory Sean Taylor

Here's hoping that 2 TD performance will give Chase Daniel the 3rd QB job over that rat bastard Colt Brennan.
