i'm seeing a lot of improvement. this team has the talent to be really good defensively. we are also scrapping and getting to more loose balls / diving and tying up balls.

work needs to be done on rebounding and improving overall offensive efficiency. also, HB needs to shake the funk and begin to fulfill some of his promise.

lastly, was very happy to see Roy change up his defensive philosophy to key in on the opposing team's stud from the word go.

Outside of Henson's defense frustrating the Illini, and his 1st few spinning layups, I don't see much out of either team except turnovers. Harrison needs to just let loose for God's sake.

Ughh we are so rail thin up front. Depth and body weight both

this is the first time im actually watching this year, they look unreal terrible, no one can create offense but barnes (and even he looks sluggish), zeller looks okay but is ofc mega soft, knox is not soft! but he's stupid, henson still mega soft, very awkward looking, still a few years away from being anything close to a polish basketball player.

anyways, prob could be a lot of improvement throughout the year, but i expect a lot of Ls, specifically in the road early in the year.

I still say the problem with this team is the attitude of the PG. Felton was the leader from the day he stepped foot on campus. Lawson had the total "it" quality that a team can feed off of like playing with a broken toe and leading the 2H charge vs LSU. LD2, wtf is going to rub off on the team from his leadership? PG is so crucial to this offense. We just don't have the right one, nor the right team attitude as a result I fear

I think Henson glanced up at the clock and thought the half was almost over, not the shot clock. Still, the second he threw up that horrible putback you could see the 3 coming a mile away.

Marshall has assisted on 3 Barnes baskets in those 34.9 minutes. Drew has assisted on just 2 Barnes baskets in 134.1 shared minutes (including Barnes's breakaway dunk in the season's 1st 5 minutes vs. Lipscomb-- just 1 in the next ~130 shared minutes)."

fwiw marshall doesn't really look that good, i've read everything to read about him, but he ****ing passes the ball with one hand and is hesitant and really mostly just rushed/weak out there. obviously a freshman but i don't see any of the signs of him being the "perfect pg for this type of offense" that i've seen written about him.
