I mentioned Thurstons stellar defense and clutch hitting earlier but he made sure to remind me of his amazing base running skills as well.

Pretty good game. Brooms out tomorrow (later today).

BTW, I hate how Tony manages our bullpen. Franklin had 13 pitches. Let him face Ethier and Blake. Him vs a lefty > Reyes vs a lefty.

Jesus, the top of the 10th was an abortion of an inning. Reyes and Wellemeyer suck, absolutely, but I can kinda see why they got brought in. Although DD is right, Franklin had some stuff left. And I dont get why, if our bullpen is so limited, TLR manages to ensure that Thompson, who can go multiple innings if needed, only pitches one inning.

But Matt Kemp >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Brad Ausmus. There is no reason at all to pitch to Kemp there with first open.

What the **** were they trying to do with Wainwright in that spot?

It won't be easy, but we have to do anything in our power to retain Holliday. Dude is a baller.
