Miller reeled off a bunch of stats about production from Giants' 1st basemen. Something like 53 games, dating back to mid September w/o an HR. Can't remember the # of ABs.

I'm not sure what to make of these walks. Being careful with Hairston makes some sense with that lineup and getting too cute with Hundley with 2 outs and two guys who can't hit coming up doesn't seem that bad.

I know, I know. He drives me crazy with the BBs, but that might have been a bit more than the usual frustratingly erratic JS.

it's really terrible, but somehow the dodgers only getting 1 run off livan in 7 innings makes me feel better about it.

christ they might as well leave the pitcher in instead of bringing in aurilia to ph. he's toast.

we might possibly be the only franchise to run out the likes of: velez, frandsen, ishikawa, aurilla...etc....its really quite pathetic....what are the odds of dealing one of the young arms for a power bat (cain, sanchez, bumgarnder, alderson)

i'm really hoping that they make frandsen the everyday 2b when renteria comes back but i'm not holding my breath.
