The same thing is going to happen this year when McGehee is hitting .199 in May and it opens the door for DUFFMAN

Cain only out two weeks according to Bochy. Apparently his forearm tightness is from a strained flexor tendon, not a UCL tear. Giants dodged a bullet on that one.

In sudden need of more pitching depth at Triple-A Sacramento, the Giants are bringing back a familiar face. And no, it’s not Barry Zito.

Right-hander Kevin Correia, who was recently released by the Seattle Mariners, has agreed to a minor league contract, I’ve learned. Correia, 34, would report to extended spring training to ramp up his pitch count before joining the Triple-A rotation.

He may never amount to anything, but DUFFMAN

Also, this team cannot score

The funny thing is after the first few games I thought "yep, no offense problems here." Then I remembered we were playing the dbacks

Oof... This team is bad. Don't even have to wait for Belt and Pence to come back to know that the offense can't be good enough to make up for this pitching.

Sure, and it doesn't help that they are horrendously injured, but man, seeing them unable to score in the 9th and 10th yesterday was so disheartening. Belt striking out with the bases loaded and no out was like... jfc man, what are you doing. The worst part is that he swung at balls that whole ab.

Both Brandons have been underachieving throughout their whole career imo.

Crawford is clutch sometimes but you see at bats where u know the pitcher is going to throw a fastball on a 3-2 count bases load...AND he's still late on it. That's why he's still a .240 hitter.

Belt is just always hurt, and always seems to need to find his timing every 4-6 weeks to get back from an injury.

I feel like Crawdad has been progressing OK...his OPS went up 20 points and then 40 points the last two seasons while BA just under .250 the whole time which means he's walking more and hitting for more power each year. If he could become a 15-18 HR guy and play good defense, then they could move him to 3B where he could be David Bell, and that would open the door for DUFFMAN
