if we didn't turn the ball over about a million times a game we might have a shot. i don't even remember us being this careless with the ball in the martz era. this team makes me want to gorge my eyes out. with a QB who can make good decisions this could be a very good team. we still have some issues on D, but it's still pretty solid despite the O.
holy crap i'm reading up on all the smith/singletary stuff...singletary is such a pu$$y headcase. how the f did vernon davis and frank gore pull rank on him to get alex smith to stay in the game?
Didn't read anything about that, but I'm surprised that Singletary hasn't had a 3-way concall with Carr and God to determine that Carr would start the rest of the season.
Smith still looked atrocious. The coaching looked worse. I can't recall a time when they looked as sloppy as they did today with the penalties, wasted time outs, too many or too few men on the field and the basic inability to move the ball for long stretches.
Tremendous pick by Lawson when he was covering Miller.
Glad to see Gore break off a big run.
Ginn had some promising returns but he really needs to get the ball switched to the outside arm and not head to the sideline so much.
The Niners are a very talented team making the least of their abilities.
