Boys, it's just not the same this year for some reason...

You know, all kidding aside, I only sat down once during last years game... when Fitz scored the long TD in the 4th. I thought our boys were going to lose. I knew Ben was capable, but not likely to pull it off. I look forward to next year when Troy will remain healthy and a high drafted CB will anchor our D with Aaron Smith and James Farrior's last great year.

This game will have to be pretty damn good to approach the greatness of watching our boys triumph in number 43. Go Saints!

Whats the point in signing Randle El?

Making me happy? idk he prob doesn't have a huge role on the team, but he was an awesome locker room guy and this team desperately needs that.

Unfortunately 3 out of those 4 will not make an impact on this team next year.

The drops, his reduced playing time, and these signings tell us that Sweed can't get it done. It's not really that hard.

Battle and Randle El are both planned to be used on special teams. I'm not sure on Allen, and you know about Clark.

ARE stated in his PC that he "had no interest in returning punts."

Yeah but I still like him for the fact he gets open and is a big body. I know I know that those things are basically useless if you can't catch the ball but I am sure if he gets more live, in-game reps he will start to fell more comfortable and be a good big play threat. I am not ready to give up on the guy yet.

I'm not ready to give up on the guy either but it seems the organization thinks he's a total headcase.

I don't mind the reintroduction of ARE for trick play purposes. Anything that can help take the heat off the line is always good. And he always had a knack for getting open whenever Ben bought some extra time (and I don't mean five to ten.........HEY-OH).

Brag: The ESPN headlines had 3 former or ex-Steelers mentioned yesterday, that's a lot of exposure for the Black and Gold!

Beat: Oh wait, they were Big Ben, Santonio, and Joey Porter. None had to do with football.
