I've never been more disgusted with a Steeler D. Mundy, Carter, Gay are just embarrassments and Clark and Taylor aren't much better. Just sickening

how are the CBs not exploited earlier?

what does every defensive player becoome incompetent in the last 10 minutes?

the scheme? endurance? point shaving?

I'd like an explanation why they went for the TD with 1:56 left on the clock.

Oakland only had one TO. They had a chance to put themselves in an essentially no-lose situation.

Amazing how bad this defense is without Troy on the field. Hate to say it but i think its time to stick a fork in them when it comes to a playoff berth. Yet another year they fall apart after a SB win.

What exactly is this season an indictment of?
Is it on Tomlin?
Is it on Arians?
Is it on the secondary, who seems to blow leads constantly?
I know when things like this happen, lots of fingers get pointed, but something has to be blamed, doesn't it?

As far as today's game, I think my big head scratcher was the long (53 yd?) FG attempt. Surely few people really think that Reed has those in his leg these days. Why not just go for it? Very, very frustrating year.

Now time to bench Roeth, Mendehall and tell Troy to stay away. Worry about next year now. Might as well lose every game intentionally to get a higher draft pick as well.

The raiders scoring 3 tds in 8 minutes is still mind boggling to me.

And then 8 sacks by cleveland - mostly the o-line fault imo.

Well I want to know why, on 3rd and 1, this offense is going empty. I don't care if you want to throw on 3rd and 1 but why the hell are you coming out in an empty set? At least put 1 back there to force the Browns to think it could possibly be a run. Also, where have the rollouts gone? That is when Ben is at his best. He isn't a pure pocket passer like Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. He makes plays outside the pocket, yet he isn't being used to the best of his abilities. Special teams has also killed this team yet again (seems like we say this every year as far back as I can remember). They are responsible for at least 1 score every game. Even in the Cleveland game they can't cover a punt that Cribbs had trouble fielding. Add the fact that a lot of these guys are playing like they just don't care to bad playcalling and poor special teams and you have 6-7 with losses against Oakland, KC and Cleveland.

There were so many mental mistakes throughout the game, mostly on the o-line. Watching all the sacks on Mike & Mike the day after the game I couldn't believe how many times there'd be 2, even 3 guys blocking 1 lineman while another ran untouched at Ben. The defense allowing Cribbs to cut back into wide open field, missed tackles, etc.... even they were mistake-prone. It just seemed like after the 1st two series of watching the offense get pinned deep and special teams blowing coverages like usual, the whole team gave up in the 1st quarter.

It would be one thing if the team just sucked; I can't stand watching a less-than-half-assed effort from the team with a wild-card on the line playing the Browns. So disheartening.

This is multilevel self abuse. Watching your team's pitiful performance once again knowing what is going to happen is bad enough. But to subject yourself to then inanity that is Mike & Mike is even worse.

They most likely aren't making the playoffs, the Ravens and Bengals most likely are, and our defense has disappeared... but we get to enjoy this week.
