The Steelers have never hesitated to part ways with a veteran player when his services are no longer needed: Rod Woodson, etc...

Having to watch Rod Woodson get his SB ring w/ the f'en ravens was one of the saddest days of my life...

Sepulveda likely out the door after the Steelers sign Kapinos to a deal. Hmmmmm..... I liked Sepulveda a lot, guess all the injuries outweighed his huge leg.

Dick Haley former head of scouting for the Steelers had this to say about his son Todd;

He is so excited about being there. He was there when he was nine years old. He couldn’t be happier. He has been a Steelers fan for forever. We both had to leave Pittsburgh – it was good for me and Todd. Todd worked under Parcells and he was a major influence in his coaching career.

He knows all about the Steelers organization. I couldn’t be happier for him. Todd lost five of his best seven or eight players to injury in Kansas City. You can’t write all the rules for what happens and let’s hope Pittsburgh stays healthy.

But, he’s happier now than he’s ever been.

Wowser! Happier as OC of the Steelers than HC of the Chiefs??

Todd is just like Josh McD. Got in over his head, failed, went back to where he felt comfortable. Re-learn from your masters before venturing back out on your own, apprentices.

Just saw an article on ESPN saying he is unlikely to get an offer
Hopefully after he signs his tender they can work our a long term deal

Will have to think about the draft pick. Hope long term deal is a lock.

Trying to figure out which games I want to come back for and which games to sell/give tickets away for.
Definitely making the short trip to Denver. Anyone else coming?

With the addition of Max Starks (signed on Tuesday for 1 year) our O-line could be a strong point of the team. I'm super excited about this season, especially about seeing us get back to dominant Steelers football on offense. Mike Wallace one time!!!

I am really excited about this season. I am excited to see what Haley is going to do will all the weapons we have. Isaac Redman might have a breakout year. I have a good feeling that Wallace is going to show up for camp.

So Mike Wallace is officially a no-show. IMO, he has picked the absolute worst team to hold out on. In their 75 year history the Steelers have never caved in to a player who was holding out. Wallace must be getting real bad advice from his agent. I think he comes to his senses in a week or two, comes in and then gets resigned. What do you guys think?

He's a restricted Free Agent who has been tendered a contract, so yes, it's a hold out. he has no other option, except to not play. No RFA has ever done this AFAIK and there's a good reason, you don't have much leverage. Plus it's the Steelers and they don't mess around.

They locked up Antonio Brown. Do you guys think they did this to kind of send a message to Wallace, like 'We got the 2nd leading receiver locked up, take what we're offering or ship out and we'll be fine either way'?
