Im disappointed in the lack of boos coming from the home fans. It just doesn't seem like Philly. Winning the WS turned us soft.

The Rollins thing is weird. They move him down as they should and then he will whine like a little girl for a couple days and then Charlie moves him back up. Its almost like Charlie is afraid of Rollins or something.

if they move him down it can't be for a couple games

has to be until playoffs, dude is not doing well and he needs to realize it be serious

I think Charlie is just loyal to a fault when it comes to some of these players (i.e. Eric Bruntlett).

Charlie is not afraid of Jimmy as he showed in NY last year when he benched him vs the Mets. He always lets guys work through their struggles as he has done in the past Howard and others, last year everyone proved his patience right, this year not so much.

That's a good move for our offense, replace the slumping Rollins with the even worse Bruntlett.

Its ashame Donald really has been awful bc maybe he could have gotten his shot? Who knows but him and Marson have been a dissapointment this year, especially when they both could have gotten a chance in the bigs.

Didn't get to watch the game last night. How bad was Lidge?

I know he went: double, walk, walk, single, groundout, removed

But was he just wayyyy off on his control or more a case of a couple key mistakes?

I'm sure this has been said, but what is the point of replacing Rollins with Bruntlett? I'd rather just see Rollins down in the 8 hole or something.

He was ok. He got ahead of a couple hitters 0-2, then proceeded to throw 3 straight sliders (intentionally) into the dirt. Then would just miss his spot 3-2. I don't know. I really think he needs to pound fastballs more, or develop a second offspeed pitch. His pitch selection doesn't seem to be throwing hitters off.

Well, since you post about Happ after his bad game, I'll post after his 98-pitch CG shutout against a good hitting Toronto team.

3.00 ERA this year, 1.23 whip.

Sickeningly Happ is our only started with an ERA+ over 100. That is pathetic (counting Myers too).

Carrasco has been running better at AAA and regardless it is very obvious that Bastardo is not ready for the major leagues yet. At this point Park may be a better option that Bastardo !!!

Ye he looked super good yesterday, I'll eat crow when I am wrong. I was ragging him after 2 shaky starts though, it wasnt completely unwarranted.

You would think I offended peoples moms or something.

Jamie Moyer please retire tonight. You suck.

I knew this was a terrible signing in the off-season and he's really proving me right..

We had no shot at sabathia, they weren't gonna dish out the money he wanted. I'll still take Raul and manny is my favorite player in baseball, but Manny is a terrible teammate we didn't need that in the clubhous.

LOL @ Sign pedro maybe 5 years ago, if teams thought he could pitch still he would have been signed by now he's good for 5 innings at most a start. I really would love Cliff Lee but I don't wanna see them ship all the big players in our farm system for him if we couldn't re-sign him after the season.

I think it's about time to see what Joe Savery, Kyle Drabek can do both have been pretty lights out in reading(aa) this season, Drabek leads the league in K's with a 100 and has a 2.38 era(I believe), Savery is 9-1 with a 3 something era.
