Anyone know anything about the guy?
I know his career BA as a pinch hitter is .300 with 5 HRs. He's a LOT better than Matt Stairs.

Doesn't help me much since I watch so many games on DVR.

Looks like he's got a career .283 average and .328 on-base percentage, not too shabby.

I haven't used it in a few years, but I think you can watch archived games after they're over...

Not 100% on that though.

There's no way Carpenter didn't scream his face off on that last one.

I think it was like 120 for the full season. There's plenty you can do with the games, DVR/Jump to Inning functionality, all the games get archived and can be watched at any time. Home and road broadcasts. If your connection is good enough, you can watch 4 games simultaneously.

The only thing that would suck for you, being in Vegas, is the blackout rules. I'm sure you may be aware of how it is, but I think they blackout almost all of the West division teams in both leagues.

A lot of the west coast games get blacked out on Extra Innings too. At $120 it's not that much cheaper than Extra Innings, so, whatever. I'd rather have it on my TV with the other team's announcers. Thanks for info though.

Hmm, I thought they did away with CN8 last year. At least I stopped getting it on my cable network back then. Thankfully there are only 3 games scheduled to air on that station, and the only one I won't get is this saturday.

Anyway Howard is looking real good to start the season which is a great sign, though Hamels looked up and down tonight. And I don't think I saw him throw a cutter or a curveball the whole game, but I wasn't paying that close attention.

I just had to fap a couple of times thinking about the things this team can do if Jimmy takes walks and gets on base more and Howard plays every day like its in September.

Lets finish the series off with a sweep and then start adding to the Astros recent misery. Lack of bullpen depth doesn't matter much when you average >9 runs a game imo, so let's gogogogogogog.

Hamels did not increase my confidence in him last night, on the other hand I didnt lose any confidence in him.

It wasnt a particular impressive showing by any means but I saw a few things that were promising.

He did give up the HR to Desmond that was pretty awful.

Howard running good early means this team can go on a good run imo, jesus this lineup is nasty...

Rollins walking is the best thing I've seen so far. Offense is basically unstoppable when he's on base a lot.

Im listening to the game online and Hunter Wendelstets (however the hell you spell it) strike call sounds like someone is stabbing him. I dont know how much more I can take of this, its quite hilarious.
