Shane!!!!! Wheeeee. Let's close this one out.

edit: Matt ****ing Stairs does it every time. Great plate discipline and a lot of good at bats in this ninth to take the lead.

i have dislike for the phils dont get me wrong. but while they stole the division the last 2 years, it was the marlins who were the reason for that both times, the final week of the season. they must die

So your giving us no credit for going out and beating you guys those years?

I'll agree the Marlins are a pain in the ass that just seem to play the spoiler every year, we have a tough time with them as well.

both years we only needed to win one extra game against the marlins to clinch and could not. sure you guys made nice late season runs but both times we coulda won the division anyway

Nice comeback again. Waaaaayyyy too interesting in the bottom of the 10th. GG Phils.

Very good to see Chan Ho Park put in some innings.

Now can they please pitch one game this year without giving up a homerun?

Great win, the Marlins arent as good as the media had made out. Like most people said it was a product of playing the Nats 6 times in the first 2 weeks. Aside from a few bad pitches in the inning Chan Ho gave up 2 HRs, he looked pretty good which is promising.

I would say between Hanley Ramirez and Dan Uggla, that team has the lowest baseball IQ of any team in the NL.

6 runs in the bottom of the 8th to answer a 4t run top of the eighth. The fangraphs game graph for the game is a true rollercoaster.

I was very sceptical about signing Ibanez for more money and more years when Pat the Bat put up similar numbers and is four years younger.

Still early in the season (and very early in the contract) but he has certainly been impressive this month.

Hamels is having a rough couple of weeks, just unfortunate fluky things. Hopefully this ankle isnt too bad and doesnt linger.

Ibanez's HR was pretty impressive. That thing was a bomb, hopefully he hits a bunch more of those.

Utley is my favorite baseball player ever I think.

hush you! Coste just doesn't want to upstage Utley, thats how much a team guy he is.

Anyway, the longer Ruiz stays out the better imho.
