They already quashed any hopes of signing Atogwe. I guess it's better for the long run to see what Allen can do as a starter, though.

Similar sentiments coming from Dallas, Minnesota, Miami & San Fran. He's apparently looking for Top 5 safety money, but from what little I know of him he's not even a Top 10 and coming off IR. Seems like a solid enough player but the price is way wrong. At first I couldn't figure out why JJ and others were so quick to pass with a serious need at the position.

Surprised no one has bumped this thread with all the Vick news. Apparently, the Eagles aren't going to release him... until Virginia Beach police and the NFL conclude their investigations.

Its pretty obvious they are hoping Vick isn't an absolute vegetable ******, just a slight drooling one. Not having him as a backup/change of pace guy would hurt imo.

I think people are kind of sick of all this tbh, I thought it was worth the risk of signing him but at this point I am eating my words. I for one am hoping he is in trouble and the Eagles can somehow void his contract bc of it. The last thing KK needs in his first season as a starter is to have this controversy lingering.

Well, there isn't going to be any charges for now, and it doesn't look like they are going to charge Vick ever because "Vick was not the shooter and there are no suspects other than the shooter."

Whether there is a ceiling or not this is an exciting year coming up, the first one without 5 at the helm in a decade. We are going to learn alot about this team in the first few weeks of the season.
