Sheil Kapadia pulled an interesting stat.

1st and 2nd down in 1 score games (diff <=7), the Eagles run the 2nd most out of all NFL teams, more than SF or OAK, surpassed only by Washington Team.

2017 they were 31st in that stat...

Do they not trust the guy they just paid? Do they not trust the O line? Both would be pretty bad signs.

probably more that they don't trust the receivers.

Alshon is basically good to sit down about 10 yards downfield and fall down if breathed on.
Agholor couldn't catch a cold if it slapped him in the face
Hollins has 4 targets in october, despite playing over 50% of plays

and none of them are taking safeties deep, because why would they?

desean is a very important part of this offense because it opens up room for alshon and ertz. without desean, the secondary can just sit and keep everything in front of them, which makes it tougher to complete passes when "in front of them" is basically only 10 yards of field

100% agree with that tweet, that play sums up Agholor. It was a difficult catch because he made it a difficult catch. He tracks the ball so poorly, he over ran the throw then had to crane back to try and catch it. If he wasn’t literally the worst WR ever at ball tracking, the throw hits him in the numbers and ... well he still probably drops it.

Really don't understand how off Wentz has been the last couple of weeks.

Defense has kept them in the game both weeks, offense completely inept.

last 5 games...
4 games against 2-9 teams and one more against Dallas (in Philly)
win all 5 and win the division, period.

of course it would be helpful if Wentz would stop sucking
but a string of games against shitty teams might help

If we get the o-line and Howard back, we should beat those 4 2-9 teams. With the defense and just the running game, that’s enough talent. But if we don’t, I honestly don’t know how we beat anybody. The team that finished the game today is probably the worst offensive team in the league.

I don't think that's right, is it? If the Cowboys were to win every game except against the Eagles, they would both finish 10-6. They would've split head-to-head matchup, so it goes to division record. They would be tied on division record both having just suffered one loss. So, then it would go to conference record where Dallas would advance on a one game better conf record... am I missing something here?

You've probably already seen this by now, but the WRs are bad.

Brandon Brooks being out and Dillard being played out of position and tipping the plays didn't help.
